This role is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, making it a solid part-time opportunity for someone with hands-on warehouse and forklift experience. About the Role: Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain, your core responsibility is operating powered equipment — including a centre rider forklift, clamp truck, and other power equipment — to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product throughout the warehouse. You’ll handle both inbound and outbound product checks, ensuring everything meets customer requirements and is free of damage or infestation.

Accuracy and safety are central to this role. You’ll be expected to comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards, complete daily equipment inspections, and maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition. Working closely with your team, you’ll help support smooth inventory management and efficient shipment preparation.

This position pays $23.50 per hour. While core benefits such as medical, dental, Long-Term Disability, life insurance, and short-term disability are available to full-time associates, part-time employees can still access optional savings plans including a DCPP, RRSP, and TFSA. Responsibilities

Day to day, a Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain spends the majority of their shift actively operating powered warehouse equipment to keep product flowing safely through the facility. These responsibilities are essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting customer requirements, and upholding DHL’s high standards for safety and efficiency.

  • Operate forklift, clamp truck, and other power equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials for a minimum of 80% of each shift
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, verifying the exact number and types of product being loaded
  • Verify load accuracy by checking load counts, stability, and product condition, reporting any variances as needed
  • Inspect inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free from damage and infestation, and that product code dates are properly recorded
  • Maintain records and reports to support accurate inventory tracking
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards at all times
  • Monitor and change equipment batteries or LP tanks as required
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and keep the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
  • Assist with physical inventory counts as needed

Requirements / Skills

  • Ability to comply with OSHA and MSDS safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and load verification
