Onsite Medical Representative – Amazon – Cambridge, ON
Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team is looking for an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join their operations in Cambridge, Ontario. This role puts you at the heart of associate wellbeing — providing hands-on first aid, coordinating return-to-work programs, and helping build a safer, healthier warehouse environment for everyone on site.
Working alongside the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist, you’ll be a visible, trusted presence on the operations floor — assessing injuries, educating associates on safe work habits, and ensuring the site is always prepared for any medical situation. This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about people and takes workplace health seriously.
About the Role: Onsite Medical Representative
As an OMR at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, you’ll independently assess and administer first aid, make referrals to outside medical providers when needed, and maintain thorough records of all care delivered to Amazon Associates. You’ll participate in weekly case management review meetings, attend safety committee meetings, and greet new hires to introduce them to health and wellness resources on site.
This role also involves educating associates and leadership about safe work practices, identifying at-risk behaviours on the operations floor, and coaching in the moment. You’ll support OSHA compliance, assist with drug testing protocols, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked medical area — all while staying current with your first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
Benefits and Salary
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $28.00 to $36.00 CAD per hour, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location. As part of Amazon’s total compensation package, additional elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) may also be included. Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), and paid time off, along with additional resources to support health and well-being.
