Working alongside the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist, you’ll do more than just treat injuries. You’ll coach associates on safe work habits, manage workers’ compensation files, and actively participate in safety committee meetings. If you’re a paramedic or nurse who wants to make a meaningful impact outside of a traditional clinical setting, this role puts you right at the intersection of health care and workplace safety.

About the Role: Onsite Medical Representative

As an OMR, you’ll independently assess and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries, refer cases to outside medical providers when appropriate, and maintain detailed records of all care delivered. You’ll also help coordinate return-to-work programs for associates recovering from work-related injuries, keeping both the associate and leadership informed throughout the process.

The role extends beyond the first aid room. You’ll walk the operations floor, engage with associates and supervisors, and provide coaching on ergonomics, body mechanics, and at-risk behaviours before they turn into injuries. You’ll also support drug testing protocols, maintain medical supply inventory, and help facilitate CPR and AED certification classes on site.
