About the Role: NA Regional Facilities Manager

The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of hard facilities services (building assets and infrastructure such as HVAC, electrical, and drainage systems) and soft facilities services (janitorial, waste management, pest control, snow removal) at operational sites across North America. You’ll work closely with field Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) and Building Excellence Management (BXM) colleagues, acting as both a strategic planner and a technical resource for site-based facilities leads.

This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with teams including Procurement, Finance, and senior leadership. You’ll act as an escalation point for safety, quality of service, and downtime incidents, while also driving process improvement initiatives, technology deployments, and sustainability programs across the network. This position offers a base salary range of $69,700 to $116,400 CAD annually for the Ontario location, and total compensation may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Responsibilities

As the NA Regional Facilities Manager, your day-to-day work spans strategic program oversight, vendor performance management, and direct collaboration with field teams. You’ll be expected to travel to operational sites approximately 50% of the time, diving deep into service and asset data to identify meaningful improvements and lead rollouts across the network.

  • Oversee delivery of hard and soft facilities services (HVAC, electrical, drainage, janitorial, pest control, snow removal) at operational sites across North America
  • Act as escalation point for safety, quality of service, and downtime incidents across the network
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to site-based facilities leads, measuring performance through KPIs and SLAs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Field RME, Procurement, and Finance to align on priorities and outcomes
  • Analyze service and asset performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost mitigation
  • Develop and lead pilots to improve services ahead of regional rollouts, including process changes, technology deployments, and sustainability initiatives
  • Work with OEMs and SMEs to address significant cost drivers and develop mitigation strategies
  • Support launching sites to ensure facility services are secured in a timely manner
  • Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders, sites, and OEMs to provide updates to RME Leadership
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while fostering relationships across various organizational levels, including senior leadership

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in program or project management combined with experience driving process improvements using data and metrics. Amazon values candidates who can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and who aren’t afraid to dive into the details — from SQL queries to executive presentations.

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience in a relevant operational environment
  • 3+ years defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and working knowledge of SQL
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with both tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of stakeholder management across varied organizational levels (preferred)
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership (preferred)
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Experience building project schedules and processes in a fast-paced, complex environment (preferred)
