Costco’s Toronto location at 100 Billy Bishop Way is looking for a Member Service Assistant to join their warehouse team. Day-to-day, you’ll be moving around the warehouse on foot and occasionally in your own vehicle, conducting safety and security checks, verifying member receipts at the exit, and making sure the entrance area runs smoothly. It’s an active, varied role that keeps you on your toes — no two shifts are exactly alike.

About the Role: Member Service Assistant

As a Member Service Assistant, your primary focus is delivering a high level of member service from the moment someone walks through the door to the moment they leave. You’ll greet and welcome members, verify membership cards, offer carts, and ensure the entrance and exit areas remain clean and organized. You’ll also track member entry counts using a handheld counter and report half-hourly tallies to the Front End team.

Beyond member-facing duties, this role has a meaningful safety and security component. You’ll conduct hourly warehouse inspections, identifying and correcting hazards like spills, trip hazards, and blocked exits, then log findings on inspection forms for the duty manager. Security responsibilities include discreetly monitoring high-value activities and, during closing hours, conducting perimeter checks using your personal vehicle. Teamwork, attentiveness, and calm under pressure are all key to succeeding here.
