About the Role: Line Lead

As a Line Lead at DHL Bolton, you’ll take ownership of your production line from start to finish. That means reviewing special instructions before production begins, inspecting equipment for safety, and making sure the right labels end up on the right products. You’ll also act as a point of guidance for temporary associates working alongside you.

Food safety is a core part of this role. This position pays $20.75 per hour. Responsibilities

The Line Lead role at DHL is all about keeping production moving accurately, safely, and efficiently. You’ll be the go-to person on the line, overseeing daily operations and supporting your team every step of the way. Here’s what the job looks like on a typical shift:

  • Review all special instructions and checklists prior to production to ensure order requirements are met
  • Instruct temporary associates on their duties and expected responsibilities throughout the shift
  • Inspect all equipment visually to confirm safe and operational condition before use
  • Package finished goods for sale according to customer specifications
  • Verify that correct product labels are affixed to all finished products
  • Ensure machinery is cleaned between orders to prevent any cross-contamination
  • Follow all operating procedures for production machinery
  • Support assembly and packing line tasks such as aligning bags, stacking cases on pallets, and opening boxes

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable taking a leadership role on the production floor. You don’t need years of experience — what matters most is your attention to detail, willingness to follow procedures, and ability to guide others in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

  • 0 to 3 months of experience in a warehouse setting (required)
  • 6 months of machine operation experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Food safety awareness and ability to follow strict protocols
  • Ability to work afternoon shifts Monday through Friday
  • Strong attention to detail when labelling and packaging products
