Group Coordinator Lead – DHL Supply Chain – North York, ON

This is a Monday to Friday daytime shift role where you’ll take ownership of a warehouse work group, guiding associates through their daily tasks, keeping operations running smoothly, and fostering a safe and productive environment. About the Role: Group Coordinator Lead

As a Group Coordinator Lead, your primary responsibility is providing day-to-day direction and guidance to your assigned work group. You’ll handle everything from scheduling and training new associates to reviewing records and monitoring individual performance. The role requires someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable taking initiative on the floor.

Safety and accuracy are central to this position. You’ll be expected to identify and report unsafe conditions, ensure all documentation is legible and precise, and communicate work practices and procedures clearly to associates. Your leadership directly affects the efficiency and safety of the entire work group.

This full-time position pays $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities

The Group Coordinator Lead plays a hands-on leadership role within the warehouse. Day to day, you’ll be responsible for keeping your work group on track, ensuring records are accurate, and making sure every associate has the guidance they need to perform their job safely and effectively.

• Conduct training for new associates joining the work group
• Assign work schedules and manage daily workloads for the team
• Monitor performance of associates and provide ongoing guidance
• Review documents prepared by team members for accuracy and legibility
• Maintain accurate records and logs in a clear and organized manner
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed by supervisors
• Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor when they cannot be self-corrected
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods clearly to associates

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse experience and is comfortable operating a forklift. DHL values individuals who can lead by example, stay organized under pressure, and communicate clearly with a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• 6–12 months of warehouse experience in a similar operational setting
• 6–12 months of forklift operation experience is required
• Forklift operator certificate or ability to complete a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills to guide and direct a work group
• Ability to identify and respond to workplace safety concerns appropriately
