About the Role: General Manager III – Distribution
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of daily warehouse operations — from receiving and storing goods to shipping efficiency and performance reporting. Leveraging Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), automation tools, and key performance metrics, you’ll keep operations sharp and aligned with both company and customer expectations.

You’ll maintain close daily contact with customers, present Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR), and ensure the site operates in accordance with its commercial agreement. Responsibilities
The General Manager III at DHL Supply Chain carries a broad mandate — from the ground-level logistics of daily warehouse operations to the strategic oversight of customer relationships and financial performance. - Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and maximize overall productivity
- Lead and mentor a team of Operations Managers and staff through coaching, guidance, and building a strong team culture
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Utilize WMS and automation tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and pinpoint areas for improvement
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective procurement and services aligned with the commercial agreement
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key metrics to support data-driven decision-making
- Lead customer relationships through regular daily contact to ensure high satisfaction and strong connections
- Own the site’s P&L, understanding the direct link between customer relationships and financial outcomes
- Present MBR/QBR reviews to customers through strong team collaboration and clear communication
Requirements / Skills

- 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience, required — demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams at scale

- Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics, preferred — familiarity with the unique demands of third-party logistics environments
- Staff management expertise, required — ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- P&L management experience, preferred — comfort with financial reporting and cost control
- Project management skills, preferred — ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred — proficiency in using technology to drive operational performance
