About the Role: Forklift Operator
As a Forklift Operator at DHL Supply Chain in Mississauga, your primary function is to safely and efficiently operate powered material handling equipment (MHE) — including forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers — for approximately 80% of your shift. You’ll be responsible for moving, locating, stacking, and counting product, as well as checking all inbound and outbound shipments for damage, code dates, and accuracy against customer requirements.
This position also requires a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Benefits and Salary
This full-time position offers a pay rate of $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities
In this Forklift Operator role, your day-to-day work centres on the safe and accurate movement of materials through a high-volume warehouse environment. You’ll also be cross-trained on packing and picking airplane engine parts, making attention to detail and precision especially critical. Below is a summary of the core responsibilities:

- Pack and pick airplane engine parts as part of a dual-function team role
- Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy and product traceability
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS safety standards at all times
- Perform daily equipment inspections and monitor or change battery/LP tank as needed
- Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain the facility in a clean, organized manner
Requirements / Skills

- Forklift operator certificate or successful completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience, required

- Ability to obtain MHE certification on an Order Picker (cherry picker)
- Packing experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
- Good computer knowledge for inventory and record-keeping tasks
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 6 months of general warehouse experience, preferred
