About the Role: Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of DHL’s warehouse and distribution operations. Your daily responsibilities keep inventory moving accurately and safely — from loading docks to staging areas. Here’s what the work looks like:

  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other powered equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials for approximately 80% of each shift
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, verifying that the correct number and types of items are loaded accurately
  • Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy across the facility
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Verify load accuracy by checking load counts, stability, and product damage, reporting any variances as needed
  • Monitor and change equipment batteries or LP tanks as required to keep operations running continuously
  • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and complete daily equipment inspections

Requirements / Skills
