As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons in Swift Current, SK, you’ll oversee a small team of food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers. Your day-to-day work involves coordinating staff activities, ensuring food meets quality standards, and keeping the restaurant operating efficiently during your shift.

This position requires someone who can communicate clearly, handle customer concerns professionally, and maintain accurate records of stock and supplies. You’ll also be responsible for training new staff on job duties, sanitation protocols, and safety procedures — a critical part of keeping the team safe and compliant with food service standards.

This position offers a wage of $17.00 per hour with 32 to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and maintain smooth daily operations
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation protocols, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service consistently meet quality control standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Establish work schedules for a team of 3–4 people, including counter attendants and kitchen helpers

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate for this role is a dependable team player with hands-on experience in a restaurant or food service setting. • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service or related field
• Communication: Excellent oral communication skills in English or French
• Availability: Must be available for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and capable of leading a small team with minimal supervision
• Team player: Collaborative approach with a focus on supporting staff and maintaining a positive work culture
