The Quarry Ridge location of Tim Hortons in Fort McMurray, Alberta is looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join their team. About the Role: Food Service Supervisor

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons Quarry Ridge, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of your team, from food preparation and portioning to scheduling and inventory. You’ll set the tone for service quality and make sure both the food and the guest experience meet Tim Hortons’ standards consistently across morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Beyond the day-to-day supervision, you’ll play a key part in training new team members on proper job duties, sanitation practices, and safety procedures. Keeping accurate records, managing supply estimates, and addressing customer concerns are all part of the role. You’ll need to be comfortable working on site at the physical location — there is no remote work option for this position.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a wage of $18.30 to $19.30 per hour (to be negotiated), at approximately 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

As a Food Service Supervisor, your work is central to keeping the Quarry Ridge location operating efficiently and safely.

• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food during assigned shifts
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation practices, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimise waste and avoid shortages
• Ensure food and service quality consistently meet established quality control standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Establish work schedules for team members to ensure adequate coverage across all shift windows

Requirements / Skills

Tim Hortons Quarry Ridge is looking for a dependable candidate who can lead a team in a fast-paced food service environment. The right person brings relevant experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and the interpersonal skills needed to support a diverse team effectively.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service or related role is required
• No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
• English language proficiency is required for communication with staff and customers
• Availability for varied shifts including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work on site at the physical location — remote work is not available
• Authorisation to work in Canada as a citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit
