Cook – Tim Hortons – Regina, SK
Location: Regina, SK | Company: Tim Hortons
Regina’s food service scene has a steady opening for a skilled cook at the Tim Hortons / Brioche Dorée / Skyway Grill location on Regina Ave. This is a permanent, full-time position that goes well beyond standard short-order work — you’ll be managing full kitchen operations, mentoring staff, and keeping food quality consistent across every service period.
From planning menus and coordinating special events to training kitchen staff and ensuring every dish meets dietary needs, the day-to-day in this kitchen is varied and hands-on. If you take pride in running a tight, well-organized kitchen and enjoy working across different dayparts and service styles, this role is worth a closer look.
About the Role: Cook
As a cook, you’ll be responsible for the full cycle of kitchen activity — from planning menus and estimating food requirements to preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes. You’ll also be expected to cater to customers with food allergies or intolerances and, when required, prepare special meals as directed by a dietitian or chef. This role covers everything from day-to-day meal prep to organizing buffets and banquets for special events.
Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment is a core expectation. You’ll inspect kitchens and food service areas, manage inventory records, order supplies and equipment, and keep operations running smoothly across all shifts. There’s also a people-management component — you’ll supervise kitchen staff and helpers, recruit and hire new team members, and provide hands-on training in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
Benefits and Salary
This position pays $24.52 per hour, with a schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. Given the breadth of the role — which includes supervision, recruitment, and kitchen management — this is a competitive rate for a cook position in Regina. The schedule includes a range of shifts: early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and on-call availability, with both overtime required and overtime available.
