Meadow Lake’s Tim Hortons location on 9th Street West is looking for a Food Counter Attendant to join the team. This is a great entry-level opportunity — no experience is required, as full training is provided. As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons in Meadow Lake, SK, you’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks that keep the restaurant running smoothly. From preparing and heating simple food items to operating dishwashers, packaging take-out orders, and replenishing supplies, your contributions directly impact the customer experience and kitchen efficiency.

This position requires you to work comfortably in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You’ll work as part of a team across various shifts — including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends — and must be comfortable following food safety and sanitation standards consistently.

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

Working as a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons means wearing many hats throughout a shift. You’ll be responsible for both front-of-house customer service and back-of-house kitchen tasks, ensuring guests are served efficiently and the workspace remains clean and organized.

• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take their orders accurately
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items using conventional ovens, grills, and deep fryers
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap items for customers
• Operate dishwashers and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, cupboards, and storage areas
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving stations
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
• Stock refrigerators and maintain cleanliness of dining area including floors, tables, trays, and chairs
• Keep records of food quantities used and remove kitchen garbage and trash
