About the Role: Food Service Counter Attendant

As a Food Service Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons in Port Dover, your main focus is ensuring customers are served efficiently and the service area is kept clean and well-stocked. You’ll handle everything from taking customer orders at the counter to packaging take-out food and replenishing supplies throughout your shift.

This is an on-site position — all work is completed at the physical location with no remote option. Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

Working the counter at Tim Hortons means keeping a lot of moving parts in order at once. From greeting customers and taking their orders to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, every task you handle contributes directly to the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of the restaurant.

• Take customers’ orders at the counter and ensure accuracy and promptness
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly, professional attitude
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods as required
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining area
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
• Carry and replace linen as part of regular housekeeping duties

Requirements / Skills

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience
• Language: English is required to communicate with customers and team members
• Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
• Availability: Must be able to work on-site at the Port Dover location; no remote work option
