About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons, your day revolves around keeping things running smoothly at the counter and in the prep area. Benefits and Salary

This position pays $18.60 per hour, with hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week on a permanent full-time basis. Responsibilities

Day to day, a Food Counter Attendant keeps the front counter and food prep area operating efficiently. These tasks are foundational to delivering fast, consistent service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked workspace throughout every shift.

• Keep records of the quantities of food used to support accurate inventory tracking
• Package take-out food orders promptly and correctly
• Portion and wrap foods according to standard serving sizes
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for customers
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure product availability throughout the shift
• Take customers’ orders accurately and efficiently
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed
