About the Role: Food Service Counter Attendant

As a Food Service Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons on 500 Vanier Ave in Labrador City, you’ll handle a variety of tasks that keep the restaurant running efficiently. From preparing and finishing simple food items on the grill and in the oven to taking customers’ orders at the counter, each shift brings a mix of responsibilities that keep things engaging.

Responsibilities

Working as a Food Service Counter Attendant means wearing many hats throughout each shift. You’ll support both the front counter and back-of-house operations, helping to maintain Tim Hortons’ standard of speed and quality. Here’s what a typical shift looks like:

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to keep service running without interruption
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas throughout your shift
• Keep records of the quantities of food used to support accurate inventory management
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for customer orders
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items using the grill and conventional oven
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available for service
• Take customers’ orders at the counter and process transactions using the electronic cash register
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed

Requirements / Skills
