About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons, you’ll be responsible for a variety of duties that keep the store running efficiently. Responsibilities

This role covers a broad mix of customer-facing and kitchen support duties. Each task contributes directly to the quality of service and the cleanliness of the store — both of which are central to the Tim Hortons experience.

  • Take customer orders at the counter and ensure accurate, friendly service
  • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items and package take-out orders
  • Portion and wrap foods according to Tim Hortons standards
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas with incoming supplies
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit using manual and electrical appliances
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand as needed
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, work surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and maintain overall cleanliness of the workspace
  • Remove kitchen garbage and handle and store cleaning products safely
  • Keep records of food quantities used to support inventory tracking
