About the Role: Fast-Food Service Attendant

As a fast-food service attendant at Tim Hortons, you’ll be hands-on from the moment your shift starts. Duties range from taking customer orders at the counter to preparing and wrapping food items, stocking refrigerators, and keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and sanitized. Responsibilities

Day to day, you’ll be contributing to both the customer-facing and back-of-house operations at Tim Hortons. From greeting guests and handling orders to maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment, these responsibilities keep the location running efficiently and ensure every customer has a positive experience.

• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take their orders accurately
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items; portion and wrap foods; package take-out orders
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware; sanitize and wash items by hand as needed
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in the dining area; load buspans and trays
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars; receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• Keep records of quantities of food used
• Handle and store cleaning products safely; remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a safe and presentable work environment
