Responsibilities
In this supervisory role, you’ll be involved in nearly every aspect of daily food service operations. From coordinating the kitchen team and managing supply requisitions to addressing customer concerns and preparing reports, your contributions directly support the quality and consistency that Tim Hortons is known for.
- Establish methods and work schedules to meet daily operational targets
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety standards
- Hire food service staff as needed to maintain adequate team coverage
- Requisition food, kitchen supplies, and estimate ingredients required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service consistently meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates to support financial planning
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports and food order summaries for the chef
- Supervise and check assembly and delivery of food trays and trolleys
Requirements / Skills

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service or related role
