About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

Responsibilities

This role touches nearly every corner of the restaurant, from the front counter to the kitchen. Food Counter Attendants at Tim Hortons are expected to jump in wherever needed, keeping service fast, food safe, and the workspace clean throughout every shift.

• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take their orders accurately
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items following established procedures
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap items for customers
• Operate dishwashers and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, cupboards, storage areas, and equipment
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit using manual and electrical appliances
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash; sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Keep records of food quantities used and load buspans and trays as needed
