Enterprise Account Executive, Retail & CPG – Amazon – Vancouver, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services Canada is looking for a driven Enterprise Account Executive to join its Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Travel & Hospitality Industry Team in Vancouver, BC. This is a high-impact, strategic sales role focused on accelerating cloud adoption among Canada’s top enterprise retail brands — and owning the full relationship lifecycle from executive alignment to deal close.
In this position, you’ll serve as the primary business partner to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into AWS-powered solutions. You’ll orchestrate cross-functional teams — including Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Partner teams — to deliver measurable outcomes across a portfolio of marquee Canadian retail accounts.
About the Role: Enterprise Account Executive
The Enterprise Account Executive owns account strategy and revenue growth for a dedicated portfolio of enterprise retail customers. Day-to-day, this means developing and executing account plans, identifying whitespace opportunities, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and driving net-new workload adoption on AWS. You’ll lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions while building lasting trusted-advisor relationships with senior decision-makers.
On the solution side, you’ll partner with Solutions Architects to scope technical solutions for retail-specific use cases — think supply chain optimization, demand forecasting, personalization, and agentic commerce. You’ll also quarterback internal teams, manage commercial negotiations, coordinate with partners on joint value propositions, and represent AWS at industry conferences and executive briefings. Staying current on the Canadian and global retail landscape, including digital transformation trends and M&A activity, is a core part of the role.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position is $99,800 to $166,700 CAD annually for the Vancouver location. As part of Amazon’s total compensation approach, the package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
