About the Role: Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant

As an Electronics/Majors Sales Assistant at Costco Montréal, your primary focus is on delivering prompt and courteous member service in the electronics, major appliances, and jewellery sections of the sales floor. Responsibilities

This role covers a wide range of tasks that keep the electronics and major appliances department running at a high standard. You’ll be working directly with members while also handling behind-the-scenes stocking and maintenance duties that keep the department looking its best.

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to members in the electronics, major appliances, and jewellery sections
  • Demonstrate products and explain features to help members make informed purchasing decisions
  • Assist members in loading products into their carts
  • Stay current by reading industry magazines, product reviews, and experimenting with merchandise to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology and trends
  • Communicate with the Area Manager regarding inventory quantities, pricing, delivery schedules, and promotions
  • Maintain product displays by setting up, cleaning, aligning, and facing items to the front; collect and return stray merchandise
  • Process member returns by checking and approving returned product
  • Create and verify signage accuracy for product marking and pricing
  • Participate in merchandise moves and review stocking lists for forklift drivers
  • Organize the security item lock-up and keep the sales floor clear of debris

Requirements / Skills
