Customer Success Manager (Transformation Advisor) – Amazon Web Services – Vancouver, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services Canada is hiring a Customer Success Manager (Transformation Advisor) to join its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team — a role built for professionals who operate comfortably at the intersection of cloud strategy, business transformation, and customer partnership. With positions available in both Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON, this is a rare opportunity to work with some of Canada’s most innovative software companies during a pivotal moment in the industry.
You’ll own the success of a portfolio of Canadian ISV accounts, guiding them through multi-year cloud, SaaS, and AI transformation journeys. The goal isn’t just adoption — it’s helping these companies build genuine competitive advantage on AWS by migrating critical workloads, accelerating generative AI and agentic capability adoption, and translating technology investments into measurable business outcomes.
About the Role: Customer Success Manager (Transformation Advisor)
In this position, you’ll serve as the connective tissue between ISV customers and the broader AWS ecosystem — including Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support, Professional Services, and Partner teams. You’ll lead director-level engagements, co-innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions with Product, Engineering, and Technology leadership inside ISV accounts. Whether you’re helping a VP of Product understand the business case for migrating a core platform to AWS or facilitating alignment between an ISV’s engineering team and AWS Solutions Architecture, your ability to bridge technical depth with executive communication will be central to your success.
You don’t need to build cloud infrastructure, but you do need to understand it well enough to earn the trust of the engineers who do. This role demands structured delivery rigour, proactive risk identification, and a genuine drive to raise the bar — both for your customers and for how AWS delivers customer success across Canada.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary for this role ranges from $99,900 to $166,900 CAD annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D coverage), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

- Support generative AI and agentic capability adoption, helping ISVs understand how these technologies are reshaping how software is built, delivered, and monetized
- Orchestrate across AWS teams — Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support, Professional Services, and Partner teams — to ensure coordinated, high-quality engagement
- Lead director-level engagements, co-innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions with Product, Engineering, and Technology leadership within ISV accounts
- Translate complex AI and cloud solutions into business cases for senior stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical teams and executive decision-makers
- Identify and remove systemic barriers that slow customer progress, escalating with precision and urgency when needed

- Contribute to repeatable mechanisms and internal enablement by sharing learnings from customer engagements to raise the bar for AWS customer success in Canada

- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
