Cloud Sales Representative (CSR) – Amazon Web Services – Vancouver, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding its Canadian sales team and looking for a Cloud Sales Representative (CSR) to join their ranks in Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON. This is a role for someone who’s genuinely energized by cloud technology, comfortable engaging C-suite decision makers, and motivated by building meaningful customer relationships across a geographic territory.
As a CSR, you’ll own a portfolio of accounts spanning multiple industries — working with existing AWS customers at various stages of their cloud adoption journey. Your day-to-day will blend outbound prospecting, pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic account planning to help businesses grow their use of AWS services.
About the Role: Cloud Sales Representative (CSR)
This position sits within AWS Canada’s Sales, Advertising, and Account Management team. You’ll be responsible for driving net new business while expanding consumption within an existing customer base. That means engaging with stakeholders from initial discovery all the way through to contract close — including demos, technical case-building, negotiation, and everything in between.
Success in this role requires close collaboration with internal teams like Solutions Architects, Demand Generation Representatives, Partner Sales, and Business Development Representatives. You’ll also leverage the Amazon Partner Network — including System Integrators and Technology partners — to accelerate service adoption and grow revenue.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $120,300 CAD annually for both Vancouver and Toronto locations. As part of Amazon’s total compensation package, additional elements may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. AWS also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and wellness resources.
