Cloud Sales Representative – Amazon Web Services – Vancouver, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Amazon
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a driven Cloud Sales Representative (CSR) to join their Commercial Sales Canada (CSC) team in Vancouver, BC. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for someone who thrives on building relationships with businesses of all sizes and guiding them through their cloud adoption journey. If you have a background in B2B technical sales and a genuine passion for cloud technology, this is the kind of role that puts you at the centre of one of the most dynamic sectors in tech today.
As a CSR, you’ll own a geographic territory spanning multiple industries, working directly with existing AWS customers to deepen their cloud usage and with new prospects to bring them onto the platform. From engaging C-level executives to collaborating with Solutions Architects and Partner Sales teams, your day-to-day will be varied, strategic, and results-driven.
About the Role: Cloud Sales Representative (CSR)
The Cloud Sales Representative is responsible for growing AWS service consumption across a portfolio of accounts at various stages of cloud maturity. You’ll develop and execute territory strategies, qualify and progress both inbound and outbound opportunities, and manage full sales cycles from prospecting through to close. Success in this role means consistently meeting and exceeding annual revenue quotas while helping customers unlock the real value of cloud technology.
Collaboration is central to how the CSR team operates. You’ll work closely with Demand Generation Representatives, Solutions Architects, Business Development Representatives, and the broader Amazon Partner Network — including System Integrators and Technology Partners — to deliver tailored cloud solutions that meet each customer’s unique business goals. Accurate CRM tracking in Salesforce and a methodical approach to pipeline management are key components of the role.
