If you have a background in B2B technical sales and a genuine interest in cloud computing, this position puts you at the centre of AWS’s commercial growth in Canada. You’ll be working with existing customers at various stages of their cloud journey while also prospecting for new opportunities across your assigned geographic territory.

About the Role: Bilingual Cloud Sales Representative

As a Cloud Sales Representative at AWS, you’ll own a geographic territory spanning multiple industries. You’ll be responsible for growing cloud adoption and revenue by engaging C-level decision-makers, managing the full sales cycle, and developing account strategies that align with each customer’s business goals. This is not a passive account management role — it requires active prospecting, strong pipeline management, and the ability to build compelling technical and business cases.

Collaboration is central to this position. You’ll work closely with Solutions Architects, Demand Generation Representatives, Partner Sales teams, and specialists to ensure customers receive solutions tailored to their needs. • Achieve revenue targets including annual quotas, new workloads, and pipeline creation and progression goals
  • Drive net new business through one-to-many and one-to-one outbound campaigns, as well as qualifying inbound opportunities from marketing and partner channels
  • Expand AWS service adoption within the existing customer base through structured account planning and management
  • Engage C-level executives to understand their technology environments, technical challenges, and business objectives, working backwards from their goals

AWS values diverse career paths, so even if your background isn’t traditional, your skills and drive matter. Bilingualism is a firm requirement for this role given the nature of the Canadian market and AWS’s international operations.

  • 2+ years of B2B technical sales experience in a solution-sales or technology-related environment
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written) — required for regular interactions with French-speaking stakeholders across Canada and Amazon entities internationally
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms for pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Experience engaging C-level executives (business and technical) is considered a strong asset
