About the Role: Bilingual Business Development Representative
At the heart of this position is Canada-wide B2B outbound sales — no industry restrictions. You’ll use DHL’s CRM system to qualify prospects via telephone, email, and online platforms, while promoting DHL Express services to both new and existing clients. Over time, you’ll take on responsibility for re-activating, onboarding, and managing small-business accounts that already use DHL services. You’ll also work to identify growth opportunities and collaborate across multiple sales channels to drive revenue.
This role involves regular collaboration with your supervisor for coaching and feedback, as well as coordination across departments on lead initiatives. You’ll be expected to practice pipeline management, utilize commercial tools to maximize revenue, and continuously work toward exceeding your sales targets. A hybrid work model means flexibility between office and home days.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Representative at DHL Express, your day-to-day revolves around identifying, contacting, and converting business prospects across Canada. These responsibilities are central to growing DHL’s client base and ensuring excellent service for existing accounts.
- Prospect and qualify potential clients through telephone, email, and online platforms using DHL’s CRM system
- Promote DHL Express services to new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact
- Resolve client queries and issues promptly and appropriately to maintain strong business relationships
- Coordinate with internal departments on lead generation initiatives and sales strategies
- Re-activate and onboard small-sized business accounts using DHL Express services 3–6 times per year
- Identify growth opportunities for increased service usage and collaborate with various sales channels
- Utilize commercial tools to maximize revenue growth and manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Work with your supervisor on a regular basis to receive feedback and refine your approach
Requirements / Skills

- College or university degree or 1–2 years of prior sales experience
- CRM experience — prior use of a Customer Relationship Management tool is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for day-to-day business communications and reporting
- Outstanding phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective clients
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a commitment to exceeding sales targets
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks strategically
- Bilingualism in French or Mandarin is a plus, as is geographic mobility
