About the Baker Position

• Prepare and bake high-volume bakery products according to Costco’s recipes and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

As a Baker, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality bakery items that meet Costco’s standards. Your daily tasks will include:

• Ingredient Preparation: Measure and assemble ingredients following Costco formulas, adjusting quantities as needed.
• Baking and Monitoring: Operate large ovens, monitor baking processes, and ensure consistency in product quality.
• Equipment Operation: Use specialized machinery such as dough rollers, muffin depositors, and crust machines.
• Quality Control: Check sanitation, product temperatures, and expiration dates to comply with health codes.
• Team Collaboration: Assist with other bakery duties and provide prompt member service.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification: Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required on the first day of the position.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Baker is required.
