This position goes well beyond day-to-day supervision. Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000 CAD annually, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities
As an Area Manager II, your day-to-day work spans team leadership, operational planning, and performance management. - Maintain a safe working environment, including lifting up to 49 lbs, standing or walking for up to 12 hours per shift, and working in variable temperature and noise conditions
Requirements / Skills

- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen is an asset)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience managing large teams of 50 or more members is preferred
- Background in relevant industries such as shipping/logistics, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or customer-service environments is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field is preferred
