This is a senior-level role for someone who wants to shape how millions of customers interact with AI-driven systems at a truly global scale — combining deep technical expertise with strategic product thinking.
You’ll sit at the intersection of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Agentic AI, and Multi-Agent Architectures, leading complex product initiatives end to end. About the Role: AI Principal Product Manager – Technical
The Data Intelligence team is a newly formed function within Amazon Customer Service. It’s a global, cross-functional organization dedicated to advancing AI capabilities through technologies like Reinforcement Learning, Knowledge Graphs, Ontology, and Model Context Protocol. As the AI Principal PMT, you’ll own the complete product lifecycle — from defining strategic vision and long-term roadmaps to ensuring customer outcomes and product reliability are met at scale.
On any given day, you’ll be reviewing customer feedback and performance data, identifying product risks and opportunities, evaluating technical approaches, and operating with the urgency of a startup leader. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and developing other technical product managers, contributing to hiring, and influencing career growth across the team. Cross-functional collaboration — with engineering, science, design, and executive leadership — is central to how this role operates.
