Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant for the Worldwide Fulfillment by Amazon team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily onsite support for the VP, including tracking and printing important documents.
  • Serving as the backup for calendar management and scheduling for the VP.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel and creating detailed travel itineraries.
  • Completing and filing expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Supporting logistics and planning for leadership meetings and managing team morale events.
  • Tracking the completion of deliverables and following up on outstanding action items to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Managing special projects as assigned, ensuring successful execution and timely completion.

Basic Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Physically able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • 1+ years of experience in executive-level calendar management.
  • 1+ years of experience planning, organizing, and supporting large meetings and events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing end-to-end projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international travel for senior executives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to complete complex tasks quickly, with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve administrative processes.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Compensation and Benefits

At Amazon, we recognize the diverse needs of our employees and offer a comprehensive compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across U.S. markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. In addition to base salary, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total package.
