About the Role: Deli Clerk

As a Deli Clerk at Loblaws, your primary focus is making sure the department is always ready for customers. That means maintaining product displays and shelves to company standards, ensuring items are accurately scanned, and helping to identify when inventory needs to be replenished. You’ll also be involved in setting up company-directed promotions and programs as they roll out throughout the store.

Keeping the department area neat and following health and safety standards is a key part of the job. You’ll work as part of a team while also being comfortable handling tasks independently when needed. Loblaws provides full training, so previous deli experience is not required to get started.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day work as a Deli Clerk at Loblaws centres on keeping the department fully stocked, clean, and customer-ready. From responding to shopper questions to setting up in-store promotions, your contributions directly shape the in-store shopping experience.

• Provide great customer service by responding to customer needs and keeping shelves stocked with available products
• Maintain product displays and shelves to meet company standards at all times
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering when required
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs as directed
• Keep department areas neat and uphold health and safety standards throughout every shift
