About the Role: Workspace Sales Specialist II, Greenfield

As part of the Google Cloud Platform team, you’ll work directly with customers to demonstrate real business value, walk through product functionality, and map out key use cases that align with their goals. You’ll manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and serve as a trusted advisor to both prospects and existing clients. This means understanding not just what a customer needs today, but influencing the long-term direction of their technology strategy.

The Canadian salary range is $144,000 – $147,000 CAD, plus a 100% bonus target, equity (GSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, you’ll be prospecting new accounts, building pipelines, and executing territory development plans — all while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The work spans strategic account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on selling across complex enterprise sales cycles. Here’s what the role looks like in practice:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with Google account teams and cross-functional groups including Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Channels
  • Construct and execute a comprehensive territory development plan to drive pipeline and business growth
  • Lead prospecting and acquisition of new Workspace opportunities in your assigned territory, building customer relationships from scratch while maintaining current accounts
  • Close agreements by working collaboratively with internal and external teams, including procurement and legal, to build business cases and implementation plans

  • Track record of carrying and exceeding sales targets in a business goal-oriented environment

  • Cross-functional collaboration experience working with account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal to close enterprise agreements
