About the Role: Account Executive, Financial Services
As an Account Executive on the LCS team, you’ll serve as a trusted strategic partner to some of Canada’s largest and most complex advertisers. Your days will involve diagnosing growth challenges, presenting data-driven recommendations, and leading cross-functional teams inside Google to drive real client results. You’ll be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business model, their marketing objectives, and the specific success metrics that matter most to their leadership teams.

Benefits and Salary
This role offers a base salary range of $172,000–$176,000 CAD per year, complemented by a 60% bonus target, equity, and a full benefits package. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, sales, and client transformation. Every day brings a mix of executive stakeholder engagement, internal collaboration, and forward-thinking analysis — all aimed at delivering measurable growth for Google’s financial services clients.
- Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics
- Structure and lead a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, coordinating cross-functional teams within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success
- Plan and achieve growth goals through the presentation of Google advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives
- Develop data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, quantifying high-impact opportunities with clear, actionable recommendations
- Architect multi-year transformation roadmaps, leveraging Google’s advertising ecosystem as the critical engine to accelerate client growth
- Establish in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be applied across a wide range of marketing objectives
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for a candidate who combines executive-level communication skills with deep digital advertising expertise and the financial acumen to build compelling business cases for large-scale investments. The ideal candidate has a track record of navigating complex organizations and delivering outsized outcomes for major clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing — or 6 years with an advanced degree
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients in a strategic capacity
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive complex, ambiguous enterprise transformation initiatives
- Deep financial acumen with the ability to analyze P&L statements, unit economics, and margin profiles to build robust business cases
- Strategic thought leadership with a history of architecting multi-year business growth strategies and leveraging digital ecosystems to accelerate market share
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and storytelling skills — with the ability to distill complex problems into actionable board-level narratives
- Proven track record of building trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, CMOs) and navigating highly matrixed Fortune 500 organizations
