About the Role: Account Executive, Automotive
As an Auto Account Executive at Google, you’ll serve as an indispensable strategic consultant to some of the most prominent automotive brands in Canada. Your mandate stretches across the entire marketing ecosystem — from OEM headquarters to regional groups and local dealer networks — requiring both a macro strategic view and precise executional follow-through. You’ll be the person clients turn to when they need to navigate profound industry shifts and outperform the competition.

Benefits and Salary

- Build and nurture trusted relationships at the C-level and across the full marketing ecosystem, including key media and creative agencies
- Design and execute tailored plans aligned with customer business outcomes, navigating the complexities of OEM, regional, and local dealer relationships
- Lead joint business planning, annual strategic alignment, and complex negotiations that position Google as the growth engine for client businesses
- Uncover clients’ most critical business needs and map out how Google’s full ecosystem of product offerings can drive their growth
- Shape overarching marketing strategy that transforms client media activity into a definitive engine for profitable growth in Canadian mobility
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for a senior professional who brings deep digital advertising expertise, strong consultative instincts, and a track record of building lasting client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing — or 6 years with an advanced degree
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients in a strategic capacity
- Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline, or collaborating with customer stakeholders (preferred)
- Performance media expertise, including measurement, attribution, optimization, and knowledge of search and performance tactics (preferred)
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work across internal and external teams on complex projects (preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to convey how growth strategies can deliver measurable results (preferred)
