WHS Specialist – Amazon – Brampton, ON
Location: Brampton, ON | Company: Amazon
Amazon Canada is looking for a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Specialist to join their fulfilment operations in Brampton, Ontario. This is a hands-on safety role that puts you right at the centre of Amazon’s mission to become the safest workplace on Earth — a goal they take seriously across every facility they operate.
As a WHS Specialist, you won’t just be checking boxes on a compliance list. You’ll be actively shaping safety culture, investigating incidents, running audits, and building real relationships with associates and leadership to drive meaningful behavioural change on the floor.
About the Role: WHS Specialist
Day to day, this position involves leading safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments while delivering training that genuinely resonates with warehouse associates. You’ll use data-driven strategies to identify trends and develop solutions before incidents occur — not just react after the fact.
Beyond the technical work, this role carries a strong cultural leadership component. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing, working across all levels of the organization to make sure safety best practices become second nature. Strong communication and the ability to translate safety data into actionable insights are key to succeeding here.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers a base salary range of $29.00 to $40.00 CAD per hour. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The company provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D insurance), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support overall health and well-being.
