About the Role: Warehouse Associate Part Time

As a Warehouse Associate at DHL Express in Mount Hope, your primary focus will be managing shipments and packages with precision and efficiency. You’ll be responsible for unloading and loading containers, trailers, and vehicles, moving freight safely within the warehouse, and accurately sorting and processing both inbound and outbound material against tight deadlines. Scanning freight using Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across various systems is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load containers, trailers, and vehicles safely, correctly, and efficiently
• Move freight within the warehouse following agreed safety procedures
• Scan freight using DHL’s Global SOP across various programs and systems
• Sort and process inbound and outbound material accurately and by required deadlines
• Organize and clean the warehouse area to maintain a tidy, safe workspace
• Maintain a safe and cooperative work environment in collaboration with team members
• Respond to emails and carry out additional warehouse or retail duties as assigned by the shift supervisor

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum 18 years of age to complete required background checks
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs. throughout the entire shift
• Comfortable working at heights and standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to work within tight time constraints and meet deadlines consistently
• Effective team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a warehouse environment
• General knowledge of warehouse functions considered an asset
