Responsibilities
Day to day, Volume Counters work alongside postal staff to collect and record detailed information about letter carrier routes. The data you gather supports route planning and operational analysis across Canada Post’s network, making accuracy and attention to detail genuinely important in this role.
- Assist in preparing postal offices for a volume count
- Count letter mail and oversized mail in letter carrier cases on a block basis and record the total
- Complete Letter Carrier Route sampling forms by obtaining information directly from letter carriers
- Weigh mail designated for letter carrier delivery
- Assist with analysis using a calculator
Requirements / Skills

- Education: Grade 10 or Secondary 4 is required
