Audiologist (Licensed) – Costco – Niagara Falls, ON

Costco’s hearing centre at 7500 Pin Oak Drive, Niagara Falls, Ontario is looking for a Licensed Audiologist (Dispensing Audiologist) to join their team. This is a clinical role where your expertise directly shapes the quality of hearing care that Costco members receive every day.

In this position, you’ll carry out the full scope of audiology dispensing services — from conducting hearing assessments and evaluations to fitting and validating hearing instruments. You’ll work alongside support personnel in a member-focused environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills matter.

About the Role: Audiologist (Licensed)

As the Dispensing Audiologist at this Niagara Falls location, your primary focus will be assessing hearing and selecting or recommending appropriate hearing instruments, or referring members when necessary. You’ll manage the complete hearing aid dispensing process, from initial evaluation through to fitting, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance.

You’ll be expected to maintain the highest standards of infection control, privacy, and confidentiality, while keeping accurate and thorough records and documentation. Familiarity with all products and services offered through the hearing centre is essential, and you’ll work collaboratively with support staff to ensure tasks are allocated appropriately.

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

The Dispensing Audiologist role covers a broad range of clinical and administrative duties within Costco’s hearing centre. Every task is tied to delivering a thorough, high-quality experience for members seeking hearing care — from the initial assessment right through to ongoing instrument support.

• Assess hearing using all relevant tasks and procedures including history taking, air and bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing for the purpose of dispensing hearing aids
• Conduct hearing aid evaluations, recommendations, fittings, verification, and validation of hearing instrument performance
• Perform dispensing tasks including impression taking, shell repair, and modification as required
• Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards
• Maintain appropriate and complete records and documentation
• Stay knowledgeable about all products and services related to the hearing centre
• Provide the highest level of member service at all times
• Collaborate with support personnel to ensure appropriate allocation of work tasks
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified Dispensing Audiologist who brings both clinical competence and a genuine commitment to member service. Costco values professionals who can work independently, communicate clearly, and maintain meticulous standards in a busy hearing centre environment.

• Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Audiology with all qualifications to dispense hearing aids in Ontario
• Registration: Registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
• Clinical experience in audiology dispensing is preferred
• Attention to detail and technical aptitude required for accurate assessment and instrument fitting
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage patient flow and documentation
• Strong communication and counselling skills to guide members through the hearing care process
• Strong computer skills for documentation and record management
