About the Role: Video Partner Lead

As a Video Partner Lead, your core mandate is to grow video revenue by building and nurturing strong partnerships with key agency stakeholders. You’ll champion the adoption of Google’s video solutions, including AI-powered Performance and Video and Connected TV (CTV), while aligning internal Sales, Marketing, and Product teams around cohesive go-to-market strategies tailored to the Canadian market. This is a senior-level, client-facing position that requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution.

The base salary range for this full-time position in Canada is CAD $172,000–$176,000, in addition to a bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities

This role sits at the heart of Google’s video growth strategy in Canada.   • Lead high-level activations and manage relationships with agency partners to drive video growth and support transformation initiatives across key accounts

  • Pitch video advertising solutions, identify new revenue opportunities, and generate leads to accelerate innovation and investment in video products
  • Gather critical agency perceptions and market trends to communicate feedback to internal teams, shaping future business strategies and product alignment
  • Partner with internal Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on cohesive go-to-market strategies and achieve collective business goals for the Canadian market

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a strategic, commercially minded professional who has built real credibility in the digital advertising world. The ideal candidate brings both a strong track record in consultative sales or business development and a deep understanding of the video and digital media landscape. Preferred candidates will also demonstrate the ability to build trust at the executive level and drive results in complex, fast-moving environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing — or 6 years with an advanced degree
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients in a strategic or sales capacity
  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives while managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Solutions and video advertising, including AI-powered Performance, Video, and CTV, is a strong asset
  • Understanding of the competitor landscape across traditional and digital media advertising
  • Strong strategic and systems thinking skills with the ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments
