Vendor Alliances and Delivery Lead – Google – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Google
Google Cloud is looking for a seasoned operations and vendor management professional to join their team as a Vendor Alliances and Delivery Lead based in Toronto, ON. This is a senior-level role within the American Business Development sales organization, sitting at the intersection of supplier partnerships, business strategy, and customer experience — a high-impact position for someone who thrives on building operational excellence at scale.
In this role, you’ll lead the supplier relationships that drive measurable outcomes for Google Cloud‘s growing business. Working closely with trusted regional vendors and internal teams, you’ll direct Vendor Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to deliver exceptional results while maintaining an outstanding experience for customers and prospects. If you have deep roots in vendor strategy, operational improvement, and cross-functional stakeholder management, this role puts you at the centre of it all.
About the Role: Vendor Alliances and Delivery Lead
This position requires a hands-on leader who can own the full vendor lifecycle — from contract negotiations and capacity planning to performance reviews and process design. You’ll serve as the primary escalation point for vendor performance and relationship issues, meaning your judgment and communication skills will be called upon regularly to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder situations. You’ll be partnering with globally managed service providers and crowdsourcing platforms, so experience in that world is a real asset.
Beyond managing individual vendor relationships, you’ll be expected to take a macro view of the operation — identifying gaps, designing scaled workflows, and driving network-wide improvements that improve quality while reducing cost to serve. Collaboration is essential here: you’ll work cross-functionally and cross-regionally with teams across Google Cloud, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence at multiple levels of a large, global organization.
