Tire Installer – Costco – Laval, QC
Location: Montreal, QC | Company: Costco Wholesale
Costco’s Tire Centre in Laval, Quebec is looking for a skilled Tire Installer to join the team at their 2999 Autoroute Laval (440) location. If you’re comfortable working with vehicles, enjoy hands-on mechanical work, and take pride in delivering top-notch member service, this could be a great fit for you.
This role puts you right at the centre of the Tire Centre operation — from balancing, mounting, and rotating tires to helping members figure out what they need and ensuring every vehicle leaves the bay safely. It’s a physically active position with a wide range of responsibilities throughout the day, so no two shifts look exactly the same.
About the Role: Tire Installer
As a Tire Installer at Costco Laval, you’ll be responsible for the full tire service cycle — driving member vehicles into the install bay, removing and mounting tires, filling them with nitrogen, balancing wheels, and torquing everything to TIA R.I.S.T. standards. You’ll also handle TPMS sensor resets, perform flat tire repairs, and support the 40KM torque check process. Beyond the technical side, you’ll assist members on the sales floor by answering questions, making product recommendations, and processing transactions accurately.
This position also involves keeping the install and sales areas clean and organized, tagging and staging special order tires, communicating with the Tire Centre manager and receiving department, and — at eligible locations — performing propane refills following provincial safety procedures. Working efficiently and safely throughout the day is essential, as is communicating effectively in French (oral and written), as this position is based in Quebec.
Benefits and Salary
Costco is well known across Canada for offering competitive compensation and a strong benefits package to its employees. While specific salary details for this position were not listed in the posting, Costco team members typically have access to benefits such as health and dental coverage, employee membership privileges, and a supportive workplace culture that values long-term growth. Final compensation details will be discussed during the hiring process.
