Responsibilities

• Identify and report internal dishonesty to the Warehouse Manager and Regional Loss Prevention Manager
• Detect shrink reduction opportunities within warehouse operations and report findings to management
• Prepare detailed reports for internal use and potential prosecution, and maintain evidence files from investigations
• Testify in court related to theft investigations when required
• Coach and educate warehouse team members on loss prevention topics, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with area Costco Loss Prevention Clerks and local businesses to share information on current theft threats
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings hands-on loss prevention experience and a thorough understanding of the legal framework surrounding theft and fraud in Canada. Strong communication and observation skills are essential, as is the ability to remain composed under pressure. • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Loss Prevention Licence as required by the Province of Quebec
