About the Role: Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Assistant role at Costco’s Laval Optical Lab covers a broad range of cleaning, maintenance, and facility support tasks. Each responsibility contributes directly to a safe, sanitary, and well-functioning workplace for all staff, members, and suppliers.

  • Assist with grounds maintenance including leaf blowing, litter pickup, roof checks, snow and ice removal, painting, and concrete floor repairs
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; receive and place merchandise in appropriate departments
  • Operate the Interal maintenance system and carry out internal and external purchases
  • Perform store inventory and follow all Optical Lab safety and security procedures and standards
  • Provide courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers at all times
