About the Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at DHL Express, you’ll own end-to-end recruitment — from sourcing passive candidates and screening applicants to coordinating interviews, extending offers, and supporting onboarding. You’ll maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), generate recruitment metrics reports, and proactively identify ways to improve workflows and automate manual processes.

Responsibilities
This role covers the full recruitment lifecycle, requiring you to juggle sourcing, screening, coordination, and reporting — all while delivering an outstanding experience to both candidates and hiring managers. Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset are essential to keeping things moving efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Build and deliver excellence across all stages of the talent acquisition process including sourcing, employer branding, candidate engagement, screening, selection, and hiring
- Partner with hiring managers to develop a thorough understanding of position requirements and role expectations
- Proactively source passive candidates using creative techniques and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent
- Screen and evaluate resumes, conduct phone screens, administer assessments, and create tailored interview questions
- Coordinate interviews, collect interviewer feedback, and keep candidates informed throughout the process
- Manage offer preparation, salary benchmarking in line with company guidelines, and support smooth onboarding for new hires
- Maintain ATS records accurately and generate recruitment metrics reports to provide actionable insights
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, background check requirements (criminal, denied party vetting, employment verification), and company documentation standards
- Develop and present workshops for internal employees to enhance skills and knowledge
- Champion process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve recruitment efficiency
- Attend job fairs and networking events to build candidate pipelines and strengthen DHL’s employer brand
- Oversee the DHL in a Box program by managing inventory, scheduling assembly, and ensuring every new hire receives their welcome package
Requirements / Skills

- Post-secondary education in HR combined with a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a related field
- Experience with an ATS (applicant tracking system) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
