About the Role: Strategic Partner Manager, Devices and Services Sales

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Hardware Partnerships team, you’ll be deeply involved in the full lifecycle of partner relationships — from identifying opportunities and structuring agreements to executing promotional activities and managing day-to-day partner needs. You’ll work with some of Canada’s top retailers to ensure they can effectively represent and sell Google’s hardware products, including Pixel phones, Google Nest, Chromecast, Google Home, and Google Wifi.

You’ll be expected to balance both strategic planning and operational execution, contributing to overarching partner projects while also taking initiative to develop your own goals. This is a full-time position with a base salary range of CAD $116,000–$119,000, determined by role, level, and work location. Responsibilities

This role is equal parts relationship management and business development. You’ll be driving partner outcomes across retail channels while collaborating internally to keep projects on track. Here’s what the day-to-day looks like:

  • Deliver partner projects that are integrated into overarching initiatives, supporting internal sales teams where needed
  • Contribute to the creation, negotiation, and implementation of effective retail partner agreements that drive measurable results
  • Execute defined promotional activities and special placements as part of partner agreement obligations
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the consumer electronics industry, retail verticals, and relevant market dynamics
  • Identify key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to build internal networks and support cross-team collaboration
  • Plan and execute prioritized project work, taking initiative to set and pursue your own goals with manager support
  • Address escalated partner issues or triage incoming concerns as required, acting as the primary contact for your assigned partner list
  • Identify and recommend creative solutions when structuring agreements or building joint partner business plans

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a candidate who combines sales experience in consumer electronics with strong relationship-building instincts and the communication skills needed to engage confidently with senior-level stakeholders.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience selling consumer electronics to Canadian retailers (3 years preferred)
  • Customer-facing experience in customer support, sales, or relationship development roles
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems effectively within a large, complex organization
  • Strategic and operational planning skills, including the ability to successfully launch new products into the market
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence interacting with both partner and Google executives
  • Detail-oriented and investigative mindset, with strong analytical instincts
  • Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS public solutions is an asset
