About the Role: Stocker

As a Stocker at Costco Richmond, your main focus is keeping the sales floor well-stocked, organized, and clean. You’ll follow merchandising standards, align product on shelves, collect stray items, and write lists for products to be brought from steel by the forklift driver. You’ll also use a box knife to open cases for display, move pallets using a manual pallet jack, and set up and modify display models for safe member access.

Safety and teamwork are central to this position. You’ll follow all safety and security procedures, communicate regularly with supervisors about priorities, and pitch in wherever the warehouse needs support. Keeping the floor clear of cardboard, debris, and empty pallets — while operating equipment like the cardboard bailer and shrink-wrap machine — is all part of the job.

Responsibilities

As a Stocker at Costco Richmond, you’ll be actively working across the warehouse floor to keep merchandise organized, accessible, and well-presented. These responsibilities are essential to maintaining the high standards Costco members expect every time they shop.

• Stock and straighten merchandise on shelves, ensuring high product levels and proper alignment throughout the warehouse

• Use a box knife to open cases for display, cut twine or shrink-wrap from pallets, and wrap or tag pallets for return to steel
• Create and monitor signage using computer-generated sign tools, and mark unmarked product with a marking gun
• Set up and modify display models, including bolting heavy equipment and taping blade edges for safe member handling
• Maintain floor cleanliness by pulling loose cardboard, sweeping, removing empty pallets, and operating the cardboard bailer and trash compactor
• Assist members by helping load large items, directing them to products, and sharing product status knowledge

Requirements / Skills
