About the Role: Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Energy Software

As a Staff SRE on the Energy IoT team, you’ll be responsible for building, enhancing, and scaling the infrastructure that underpins real-time monitoring, optimization, and control systems for Tesla’s energy products. You’ll work hands-on with a broad technology stack including Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Prometheus, Helm, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, CloudNativePG, Kafka, InfluxDB, Scala, and Rust.

Beyond the technical work, this role carries a leadership dimension. You’ll provide guidance on system architecture and security best practices, review complex code and technical documentation, and drive key initiatives from concept to completion. Requirements / Skills
