Senior Strategic Security Consultant – Google (Mandiant) – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Google
Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, is looking for a Senior Strategic Security Consultant to join their team across multiple Canadian locations including Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, and Vancouver. This is a senior-level role with real depth — you’ll be at the forefront of helping organizations defend against some of the most sophisticated cyber threats in the world, backed by Mandiant’s globally recognized threat intelligence and incident response capabilities.
This isn’t a passive advisory role. You’ll be hands-on with clients navigating complex breaches, developing cloud security architectures, performing forensic analysis, and leading engagements that span technical and executive audiences alike. If you thrive in high-stakes cybersecurity environments and have a passion for solving problems others can’t, this role is worth a close look.
About the Role: Senior Strategic Security Consultant

You’ll develop roadmaps and recommendations that drive meaningful improvements to cloud security architecture, governance, and standards. This role demands a strong technical foundation — including knowledge of computer science, networking, operating systems, and cloud services — combined with the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders.
You may also be involved in threat hunting, malware triage, and forensic analysis on complex, high-profile engagements. Emulating the latest attacker techniques to test client networks, applications, and devices is also part of the picture.
